Bio

Patrick Parker started his maintenance and reliability journey in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Electronics Technician. While in the Navy he performed critical reactor instrumentation and controls maintenance and reactor operations, including planning, scheduling, and maintenance management roles.
Presently Patrick is a Program Manager in Rockwell Automation’s Lifecycle Services Business. In this role he provides strategic consultation and support for asset management & reliability initiatives to industrial manufacturing customers across the globe in a multitude of different industries including Automotive, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Forestry Products, Pulp & Paper, Chemical, and many more.
Currently residing in Birmingham, AL he is active within the SMRP Organization. SMRP involvement includes having been a track lead for the 2018, 2019, and 2020 Annual Conference, is a certified CMRP exam proctor, and is a member of the Best Practices Committee, Denver Symposium Committee, & the Alabama SMRP Chapter. Also, he has had the privilege of being a past speaker at both the SMRP Conference and Symposiums.
Organizational culture, change management, and technology application within the maintenance & reliability field are just some of his passions that ultimately all lead back to expanding human possibility.
Lastly Patrick holds a BS in Nuclear Engineering Technology and an MBA from Thomas Edison State University, and holds CMRP, PMP, RMIC and Six-Sigma certifications.
