I apologize if this has been asked before. I was going through the BoK studying for the CMRP and came across this.
In the sample calculation section on page 103.
The 'Annual Maintenance Formal Training Costs' = $35,400. (Call this A)
The 'Annual Total Labor Training Costs' = $41,958. (Call this B)
These are then added together to get $77,358 (Call this A+B) as Total Maintenance Labor Training Costs
Number of Employees is 22 (Call this C)
The formula for Total Training Cost per Employee is Total Maintenance Training Costs (Formal and Labor)/ Number of Internal Maintenance Employees
The Calculation then takes A ($35,400) and adds it to A+B ($77,358) and divides it by 22 to get $5,125 per employee
Shouldn't it be A($35,400) added to B ($41,958) divided by 22 to get $3,516 per employee?
Maybe I'm looking at this incorrectly.
Don't mean to nerd out on this and an engineer is going to engineer!
