I’d advice by making the value proposition first to the organisation.

Show them the value of having a dedicated condition monitoring team.

There after begin adding Reliability engineers to oversee and drive improvement projects/ RCAs

Oh my Bad 😅 what comes to mind is either Practicing what you’ve learnt at work or with your personal items eg car, fridge etc.

I also make it a point to do a lot of reading around the topic and engage with personal at work on their opinion on it.

    Hi Ahmed,

By recognizing that achieving the CMRP is a start and not the goal, you are on course. Apply the Pareto principle, 80-20 rule. Seek the 20% of your process impacting 80%. Within that 20%, what can you affect change in? You might need to limit scope and instead of applying 80-20 to your entire company or process, limit it to something local you have influence over. Determine the impactful 20% of that and one thing in that group you can impact in a measurable and meaningful way. Your goal is not to tell people how things can improve. your goal is to improve what you can with RCM and have them ask you how it was accomplished?
