I am an innovation and business enthusiast. If you want to talk about processes, business, market, technology, travel I am in! This last one is my favorite, travel, I really enjoy to live a new culture, meet people that was raise on that place I am visiting. My wife and kid also love to join me in these journeys and it is being a nice family objective "to know one more country every year". Apart of traveling I am a sports guy, really any sports even curling (lol, sorry if you are a curling lover).
Professionally speaking, I am an electrical engineer (UFSC/Brazil) now working on my masters in Reliability Engineering (UTFPR/Brazil). Started my professional life as a research student for EMBRAER, then I got involved into software, firmware and hardware R&D for telecom industry (DIGITRO/Brazil) for a few years. Then my career took a turn to the O&G industry, joined Schlumberger, worked at drilling and exploration rigs for 2yrs for several customers SHELL, PETROBRAS, REPSOL, ANADARKO, BP, YPF, and a few others. After that, in 2011, I got involved with the Maintenance and Reliability area, where I still dedicating my time. During the last 5 yrs I got involved in Quality and Engineering departmet as well helping to find solutions but always supported by my background implementing changes in maintenance strategies, design of equipment, data analysis, new processes. Recently I started my own company, Unikuaa Training and Consulting which has the objective of spread the word about Reliability Engineering and every the other matter that involve solutions based on data analysis to make a plant more efficient and safe.
