The Dichotomies of Reliability: Realizing it Depends
SMRP's Carolinas Chapter is hosting this January 2026 "Lunch and Learn" webinar that is welcome to all of the SMRP community.
Description:
In this session we will look at how reliability elements like planning, RCA, staffing, FMEA and many other components of asset management don’t have one correct answer. We will look at what you must consider to drive success as you discover best practice may not be best practice for everyone.
Speaker: Shon Isenhour, Owner of Eruditio, CMRP, CAMA, CMP
Shon Isenhour is a seasoned reliability leader and engineering graduate of North Carolina State University, recognized globally for his ability to help organizations implement holistic asset management strategies that deliver real, measurable business value. As a founding partner and owner at Eruditio, Shon helps organizations move beyond theory to action by aligning reliability strategy with operational execution and leadership behavior. His widely read blog, ReliabilityNow.com, with over 200 articles and 4,000 monthly readers, offers insights on manufacturing, leadership, reliability strategy, and education.
When he’s not guiding teams through the journey to reliability, you’ll find Shon in the air as a licensed airplane and helicopter pilot — or on the water as an avid fisherman. After all, reliability matters everywhere — especially when you're flying or fishing.
