The SMRP Wisconsin Chapter held its spring meeting at the Rockwell Automation Clock Tower on the south side of Milwaukee. The agenda was as follows:
• 4:00PM - 4:15PM -Welcome and introductions
• 4:15PM -5:00PM Principles of Good Planning and Scheduling - Bill Mountjoy
• 5:00PM - 5:30PM - Presentation Topic: Improvements in Planning and Scheduling at Kohler - Dave Robson
• 5:30PM - 6:00PM - General conversations/ questions/ closing
Bill Mountjoy presented an overview of the Planning and Scheduling function based on his broad experience in developing these types of programs in many industries. This was followed by Dave Robson's presentation on how Kohler was able to implement improvements to its planning function. The group had many questions leading to some excellent discussion of practices around the industry. Fifteen membes were able to attend.
The meeting was followed by dinner at Botanas near the Clock Tower location.
