  • 1.  MAINTENANCE WORKLOAD & MANNING EVALUATION

Can anybody help me with realistic basic manpower required calculation for a period of a year for an offshore facility.
I know once can calculate by using the number of equipment but do not know how.
Also one can use the CMMS planned hours for the year ... But I need more scientific calculation for asset where the CMMS is not even built :)

John, drop me an email at erik@r2reliability.com and I might be able to help you. I've done this in the past for new assets in the project phase. Once you have a reasonable idea of the equipment count you can make some initial estimates on the back of benchmark data. What I have is not very current data, but will be better than nothing.

    Hello John,

It is very interesting question. It would be great to see some feedback from community members. What i came across in the past was benchmark against own existing facilities and leverage historical data from CMMS. But your case sounds like greenfield, where outside organization data is needed
