Hi Scott,
I used to have a third party complete these inspections. They can select UT inspection points and you should inspect based on corrosion growth rate and not past 10 yrs. A third Party should also be able to use a standard report template that will include all the items in your checklist (vessel basic information, external condition, etc.)
For the PSVs, if they are small brass PSV, you could swap them in kind every 5 years.

Hello All,
I have recently been tasked with inspecting our air receivers. We have several located at four locations. Although we are in a "Non-Code" state, I am reviewing the National Board Inspection Code and OSHA for the requirements. Any advice on what to put on the check list, inspection frequency, safety valve requirements, and in inspecting in house or hiring an outside company to perform the inspections would be appreciated.
