In recent times in trying to improve and implement a Reliability Cultural mindset, I have been in discussions with maintenance and operations teams on how 'they" thinks things should be done . It always comes down to the blame game. For effective and improved productivity it requires for effective communication and a cultural change ( as most of the people are technically gifted).
With the communication, this could easily be achieved using various tools of communication and loops for feedback, however with the culture this has to do with an attitude towards change and everyone would rather play safe.
I recently reviewed the RACI for a project and was thinking (and if there are other opinions out there this would be welcomed), how do I use RACI to effect a cultural change. I have my thoughts centered more on the redefining of what Accountability should look like, but this might be from a narrow prospective and looking for a range of views to enable me chart a part for possible discussions with stakeholders.
