I am currently exploring the use of ISO 14224 for structuring failure codes and asset taxonomy within the food & beverage industry, specifically in a bakery manufacturing environment.
While there is extensive material and prebuilt libraries available for oil & gas and petroleum industries, I am looking to understand how others have adapted ISO 14224 for equipment such as dough dividers, mixers, ovens, and conveyor systems.
Has anyone successfully implemented ISO 14224 in food & beverage or similar manufacturing industries?
Additionally, are there any vendors or solution providers that offer prebuilt or configurable ISO 14224–aligned libraries (failure codes, causes, asset classification) that can be adapted for this type of environment? (eg. swainsmith.com)
I would appreciate any guidance, references, or recommendations.
