  • 1.  Obsolete electronic parts

I am interested in purchasing spare electronics for obsolete drives, PLCs, smart pneumatic manifolds, etc.. to help protect some of our older critical equipment in the event of a failure. Does anyone have suggestions for good resale companies (reasonably priced) for obsolete electronics?

Steve, my first try for buying those types of items is normally Radwell International just because they seem to have the largest selection. If you have a solid relationship with a couple of repair vendors they can often help with sourcing also. Process Control Outlet (PCO Div II) and Servo South are two others that I have successfully used for both repairs and purchasing. Hope that helps.

    Dear Steve,

Identifying  a source of supply for obsolete items would aid in the short term, but upgrading systems would be the better way to maintain reliability in the longer term.
