    Hi Nsisong,

    IR can be very useful for mid to late detection of motor and gearbox drive failures which would help in planning replacement/repair work. Route based ultrasound can also be very useful detecting impending bearing defects and lubrication issues in low  and high speed bearings.

    We're currently exploring options on both our processing and packaging equipment using the Siemens SensEye application and have been impressed with the capability so far.
