  • 1.  Storeroom / SAP integration

    Posted 02-28-2023 10:34 AM

I am seeking advice on behalf of my MRP Specialist in order to achieve completeness of the integration between our Storeroom and SAP.  We recently had an individual come in once a month for a week, for a few months, but overall, this long-term approach did not aid us in reaching our objective.  The new approach we are considering is to have a team come in once for a specific period of time to fully integrate every part, quantity, location, min stock, etc. into SAP.

If you have any suggestions on a company that offers or may offer this service, please let me know; any information would be helpful.

Thank you for your time and help,

    Tyler

    Hi Christopher,

There is a company that I had hired called “Deep”. They are comprised of mainly retired reliability professionals that have members that can pretty much perform the full range of reliability services. They have a member that did the storeroom integration for one of the large Aluminum plants - I highly recommend them. I am not sure their availability.

    Best regards,

    Scott

    Scott,

Thank you very much for the information.  Do you have any contact information or a website for connecting with Deep?

    Thank you,

    Tyler

Hello! Search this discussion for “MRO” and you’ll see a thread we had on Jul 28 last year that was very similar, I think from a gent in Virginia. There are a few company names there and some advice. The original poster might have an update. @Lee McClish (I couldn’t figure out how to link to the thread…)

Tyler, I created a storeroom from scratch in one of my companies using SAP. It was a 2 year process. I am currently establishing one in my company using a third-party logistics warehouse. Would be happy to discuss. 419-606-7880 or lee.mcclish@global.ntt.

    Lee,

Thank you for your offer.  Let me look at the schedule of my team and I'll shoot you an email to setup a time hopefully next week if that works.
