Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Optimizes Wrench-Time. In most companies wrench-time is extremely low.

  1. How would you know if Wrench-Time is low?  a good indication wrench-time is low is when you are experiencing a lot of equipment problems and reactivity is rampant.
  2. So what to do about it? all maintenance planners and maintenance managers should attend a formal public workshop where you not only learn from the instructor but from others in the training as well because everyone is at different levels in this process.
