    I am new to this platform, I want to become CMRP certified but don't know from where to start. Kindly help to take a start in the right direction.

    Start with purchasing two books (1) Making Common Sense Common Practice, Ron Moore (2) Maintenance Reliability Best Practices, Ramesh Gulati.  These two books will give you a good foundation.  The exam is based on several books since there are 5 pillars you must be familiar.  In order to pass the exam, you must pass all 5 pillars.  I would also suggest you become familiar with ISO55001

    Hello there, I wish you all good luck in your CMRP journey, first, you need to read the CMRP roadmap which will guide you through everything untill the exam, then you should read the following:-

    1- SMRP BOK.
    2- Maintenance and Reliability best practice by Ramesh Gulati.
    3- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling by Doc Palmer.

    and other books you will find in the SMRP roadmap.

    Hello Aly,

    The advice provided previously is correct. Doc Palmer's Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Handbook was also useful. While preparing, approach this as research and not study. The goal is not passing the exam (study). The goal is changing the maintenance strategy by understanding and applying an improved maintenance philosophy.

    yes you will find in the website for SMRP, but you need to be a member in order to get the BOK, but the road map is available for free.

    You may also try to purchase some courses on Udemy especially for exam simulator to be more familiar with QCM and managing the time of the quiz.
