    Good morning everyone,
    Does anyone have any experience using AI software to aid in machine predictive maintenance and troubleshooting? Years ago we had software that learned the sequence of our machine processes, and if it stopped for any reason it would tell us either what did or didn't happen right before it stopped...whether that be a limit didn't make, pressure switch not made, etc.. We are moving towards more automation in our process and I think this would greatly aid us in optimizing our machine uptime. It could even learn the processes enough to eventually predict when failures are likely to occur. I'm curious if there are any suggestions out there on software to accomplish this task. Any help would be appreciated.

    ML/AI has not changed too much, other than platforms.  The one that comes to mind for what you are looking for would be Falkonry.  There are a few others - most are involved in anomaly detection.

    Dear Jerry,

    The AI/ML solutions are mostly proprietary software add-on features. We had a demonstration from an OEM for a software solution that would collect all data from equipment through a secure wireless connection, which will then be analyzed using software for predictive analytics and alerts for machine upkeep. This area is in the development stage with innovations being done on an iterative basis. 

    At present, real time diagnostics are limited to anomaly detections and alerts.
