You may already have the ability, depending on your switchgear relay system. This might be a GE Multilin, SEL, Siemens, or other device that is displaying voltage, current, etc. The Device Number is 27 (undervoltage relay) and most of these monitoring systems can be used to trigger or trip the main or individual circuit breakers to bring your system offline or trigger the startup of an alternate source (generator, UPS, etc.).
If you are looking at individual systems such as an AC system (from your title) smaller relay devices are available for motors, MCC, or individual systems.

Subject: under voltage protection
I am the maintenance coordinator at a manufacturing plant that is in an area that suffers frequent power outages. We frenetically run around and turn off the million-dollar laser machines when a power outage occurs to prevent damages when the power returns. Please advise of the information I need to collect to shop for good under voltage protection and what products work well with you.
